Graphola was launched out of a desire to support and promote Digital Art and the new forms of creativity and culture that are, in one way or another, linked to the development of digital technology.

The initiative is designed and managed by Drop (www.drop.it), a Italian web agency that has become a leading name in its field thanks to the way in which it successfully combines technology and creativity.

The person responsible for managing the gallery and organizing exhibitions is Alfredo Celiberti (alfredo@graphola.com). Alfredo has been passionate about Digital Art for years, and has followed every stage in the development of this multi-faceted artform with the unflagging curiosity of a child, but also with the experience and expertise of those who have worked in IT from the outset.

The aim of Graphola is to bring together the most talented individuals working in the world of digital art, from the currently unknown to the already celebrated, and to display their works online in order to increase their exposure. Exhibitions of Graphola-registered artists' work are often mounted in Italy.

In addition, Graphola also offers up for sale the works displayed in the gallery, in order to finance the continued expansion of the initiative. The works are printed in a limited edition on cotton canvas and come complete with a certificate of authentication.
